Christopher Bell discusses up and down day at Martinsville in 2026
Christopher Bell discusses his up and down day in the NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway in March 2026.
Christopher Bell had an up-and-down day at Martinsville Speedway in March 2026. After a poor start to the race, Bell and the No. 20 team for Joe Gibbs Racing worked to improve the car.
By the end of the event, the driver of the No. 20 car found himself in seventh place for a gritty top-10 result. Following the event, Bell spoke about his run at Martinsville, and while it wasn't up to the standards of his Joe Gibbs Racing teammates, he was happy with the overall direction.
"I was super happy with the adjustments on our Camry," Bell said. "We got more competitive throughout the race ā the beginning part of the race was a really big struggle. Overall, Iām happy.
We ran seventh. I would obviously love more, but it was a competitive Martinsville race for us. When we were at our best, I felt like we were in the top-five for sure.
