Ryan Blaney not happy with Denny Hamlin after incident at Martinsville
Ryan Blaney is not happy with Denny Hamlin after their incident in the NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway in March 2026.
Ryan Blaney didn't have a fast enough car to truly compete for the win at Martinsville Speedway; however, he never had a chance to flex his muscles upfront. On the final restart, Denny Hamlin put Blaney's No. 12 car in the wall off of Turn 4, putting him in a tough situation for the rest of the race.
The Team Penske driver climbed to sixth place; however, he wasn't happy with the incident. Following the event, Blaney expressed his displeasure with Hamlin's move at Martinsville. โYeah, [Denny Hamlin] just put me in the fence,โ Blaney said.
โThatโs what it looked like from my seat. I was pretty tight after that. But luckily, we were able to kind of get one or two spots back after that happened.
I feel like I got driven into the fence. From my seat, it seemed like overkill. I donโt know.
