3 TCU trailed No. 1 South Carolina led 30-26, Suarez went up for a rebound attempt and appeared to twist her right ankle after landing on teammate Clara Silva's foot. Suarez remained down on the court as play continued on the opposite side of the court.
South Carolina was able to capitalize on the 5-on-4 player advantage with Raven Johnson knocking down an open 3-pointer to go up 33-26. Suarez got to her feet on her own and limped up the court before she was subbed out. The 6-foot-3 forward went straight to the end of the bench and was worked on by staff.
She did some laps behind the bench in an attempt to walk off the apparent injury and later walked back with her team at halftime. Suarez emerged from the tunnel with her team and warmed up on the court ahead of the second half before going on to start the third quarter. Suarez has five points, shooting 2-of-8 and 1-of-3 in 19 minutes.
