MARYVILLE, MO — For the second time this season, the 11th-ranked Indian Hills women's golf team took home the team title as the Warriors captured medalist honors at the Graceland Spring Invitational at the Mozingo Golf Course. The Warriors won the event by a remarkable 44 strokes. As a team, Indian Hills fired an 89-over-par 665, leading the nine-team field wire-to-wire.

Competing as one of just two junior college programs in the event, the Warriors were led by four individual top-10 performances, including a first-place finish from sophomore Poppy Norcott. Norcott starred for the Warriors as the sophomore captured her second consecutive first-place finish after taking top honors at the Hillcat Classic on Mar. 10.

Norcott shot a tournament low 17-over-par 161 to win by four strokes. Norcott was one of just two individuals in the 59-player field to fire a round below 80 after posting a tournament-low 75 in the opening round. Norcott led the field with four birdies and added an eagle for the second consecutive event.

The sophomore carded the eagle on the Par-5, 433 yard hole No. 6 in the opening round. Sophomore Jade Blakeley posted her best finish for the Warriors in the spring with a third-place showing after firing a 22-over-par 166.

Blakely shaved off four strokes to finish the second round with an 81. Blakeley led all individuals on par-4 and par-5 holes throughout the tournament. Fellow sophomore Taylor Pacheco tied with Blakely in third-place after back-to-back rounds of 83.
