Clermont Northeastern hires new girls soccer head coach
Clermont Northeastern announced the hiring of a new girls varsity soccer head coach.
Clermont Northeastern High School announced on March 26 that, pending board approval, Chris Puckett was hired as its new girls soccer head coach. Puckett has been a soccer coach for over two decades, including spending the last four seasons as the junior varsity girls coach for the Rockets. “I am incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to represent this program and continue to build on the strong foundation left by the many wonderful coaches who have come before,” Puckett said in a release.
“My goal is to build a culture of respect, hard work, fun and accountability while maintaining the winning tradition of the Rocket ladies and sharing my deep love of this beautiful game with these incredible student/athletes. ” Puckett will take over a Rockets squad that went 12-5-2 last season, finishing in second in the Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference-National Division.
