Vanderbilt basketball transfer portal tracker, who's in, who's out on 2026-27 roster

Vanderbilt basketball has a lot to replace in what figures to be a busy portal season for coach Mark Byington. Even before accounting for additional transfers out, it's a possibility the Commodores could lose each of their top six players from this season. Tyler Nickel, Devin McGlockton, Duke Miles and Jalen Washington are all out of eligibility, and AK Okereke would need a waiver to play another year.

Tyler Tanner has a decision to make with the NBA draft, and if he initially declares, it could be until late May before Vanderbilt knows whether he stays in the draft. For the offseason, the transfer window has been shortened to 15 days and moved back to after the national championship. The window to enter the portal will be April 7-21, though players can announce their intentions earlier than that and commit after the window has closed.

He'll need a medical redshirt to play another year after playing in nine games in 2025-26 before suffering a knee injury. Vanderbilt originally hoped he could return, but he never appeared in a game for the Commodores again.
