A Miss Basketball who started all 32 games for the Hoosiers will weigh her options in the transfer portal. Here's the latest on the Hoosiers' roster.

Indiana women's basketball guard Nevaeh Caffey will enter the transfer portal, which opens April 6, she stated Monday afternoon by reposting an announcement from On3 on her Instagram . Caffey's departure from the Hoosiers program is a bit of a surprise. The 2025 Missouri Miss Show-Me Basketball started all 32 of IU's games as a freshman this season, averaging 8.

5 points, 3. 5 rebounds and 2. 5 assists per game.

IU women didn't have the success it is used to this year, starting 0-10 in Big Ten play as the Hoosiers returned just one starter. But Caffey was a big part of IU winning seven of its final 10 games, surging to a second-round Big Ten Tournament finish. She, along with fellow freshman forward Maya Makalusky and redshirt sophomore guard Lenee Beaumont, were considered to be the core of IU's play going forward, with Caffey continuing as the Hoosiers' point guard.

Now, coach Teri Moren will need to find someone else to fill the void at point. An entry Indiana Miss Basketball winner to enter transfer portal after season with IUWBB Edessa Noyan joins Caffey, others in transfer portal Part-time starting center Edessa Noyan also plans to enter the transfer portal, On3 reported earlier Monday. Noyan stepped into the starting center role as Zania Socka-Nguemen went through multiple foot injuries.
