Liam Coen highlights Jaguars' practice plan for Travis Hunter

When meeting with the local media at the NFL league meetings, Jacksonville Jaguars' head coach Liam Coen discussed the preliminary plan for Travis Hunter once he's able to practice. Hunter suffered a season-ending knee injury in practice prior to the  Jaguars ' Week 9 matchup with the  Las Vegas Raiders . As of now, Coen was not ready to say whether or not Hunter would be ready to go for OTAs.

“I don’t know," Coen said about Hunter's status for OTAs, according to Ryan O'Halloran . "I cannot say for certain. He’s very well ahead of where he’s supposed to be.

I know the docs and athletic trainers feel really good about him. ” Hunter will continue to play both ways -- both Coen and James Gladstone have made that clear -- but given the construction of the roster, there could be more opportunities at cornerback for him. Hunter is currently slated to start on the outside opposite of Montaric Brown.

While at wideout, Jakobi Meyers, Brian Thomas Jr. , and Parker Washington headline that unit. However, specifics still need to be ironed out.
