Peyton Manning's portfolio expands once more as he dips his toes into a new flag football league.

Former Denver Broncos quarterback and Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning isn't done with investing in sports. Manning's sports portfolio has expanded once more as it was announced he would be one of several investors in a new professional flag football league. The NFL announced it would be partnering with TMRW Sports to create the new men's and women's league on Monday.

"This initiative comes at a time of unprecedented global momentum for flag football, as the sport experiences rapid growth, expanding commercial interest, and increasing engagement from prospective investment, media, and sponsorship partners," read a press release from the NFL. "Flag football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, with approximately 20 million players worldwide. The new professional league will serve as a crucial anchor in the broader flag football ecosystem, completing a full athlete‑development pathway that spans youth play, high school and collegiate programs, professional competition, and ultimately the Olympic stage at the Los Angeles 2028 Games.

" In addition to Manning, group of investors also includes former NFL stars such as his brother Eli Manning, Tom Brady, Hall of Famers Steve Young and Joe Montana, along with current NFL players Russell Wilson, Bobby Wagner and Arik Armstead. Peyton and Eli are very well-versed in flag football at the pro level, as they helped introduce flag football into the annual Pro Bowl in 2023, where it has become a staple ever since. With the 2028 Summer Olympics on the horizon, NFL owners voted to allow NFL players the opportunity to play flag football for the US, or any other nation they represent.

Brady and Broncos head coach Sean Payton also recently participated in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, a round-robin tournament that included former and current players, which was hosted in Los Angeles. Some of Manning's other ventures include a part-ownership in the NWSL's Denver Summit and co-hosting ESPN's ManningCast alongside his brother, Eli. Where will Manning invest in next?
