Speaking about the president, Kroos highlighted the consistency and human element that, in his view, defines Real Madrid behind the scenes, regardless of changes in players or squads over time.

“After so much time here I can say that it is a very human club, very family-oriented inside. And this always starts from the top. How Florentino Pérez welcomed me from the first day, how he has always spoken to me… but not only to me, every time he goes into the dressing room.

It is something that can also be seen from the outside. He transmits something that is very human and I have always valued that a lot about this club. I have lived in many different dressing rooms here, many players have left and others have arrived, but this has not changed.

I have felt very comfortable inside this club, very protected in difficult moments, because we have experienced them as well. And that has also made it special. That’s also why I wanted a special ending, because I wanted to say goodbye at the highest level.
