Verstappen, who became a first-time dad to daughter Lily last April with his longtime girlfriend Kelly Piquet , spoke with reporters after the Grand Prix about his less-than-favorable performance and he spoke about a possible retirement when the season wraps in December. "I'm thinking about everything inside this paddock," he continued. "Privately, Iโm very happy. You have 24 races.
And then you just think, 'Is it worth it? Or do I enjoy being more at home with my family, seeing my friends more when youโre not enjoying your sport? ' " Verstappen has been full throttle since making his Formula 1 debut at age 17 in 2015.
