The connection between LeBron James and the Golden State Warriors has popped up plenty of times before, and while it seems unlikely, we can never count anything out in the NBA.
Gray Deyo of Sports Illustrated believes the Warriors are one of three landing spots for James after the season, adding that his connection with Stephen Curry has to be factored in. “James has mentioned wanting to play with Stephen Curry, so although James playing with the Warriors may be a crazy thought at first, it very well could happen. The Warriors in the past were rumored to try to trade for James, and with where Curry is in his own career, nothing should be off the table in order to try to generate a championship-level team,” he wrote .
There are a few factors that James would have to consider, as well as the Warriors and Curry. It remains uncertain whether the Los Angeles Lakers would even be content with letting James walk at this stage of his career, given how much he makes for them and how good he still is. The Warriors would also have to factor in whether they want to have him on the roster and try to chase a championship, and if he's the guy to do that with.
