Photo by Clive Mason/Getty Images Mark Webber was quick to offer his congratulations after Senna Agius secured a Moto2 victory at the United States Grand Prix on Sunday. Agius, who started the race from fifth on the grid, found himself in the middle of chaos right from the start. A seven-rider collision led to an immediate red flag and forced organisers to shorten the race to just 10 laps.
He later got into a back-and-forth battle with Celestino Vietti for first place before making what proved to be a winning pass two laps from the end. The result marked his third win in this category, adding to previous victories at Silverstone and Phillip Island last year.
