Following a 4-0 week the Texas A&M Aggies jump a few spots after winning their first SEC series of the season

Texas A&M baseball (22–5, 5–4 SEC) delivered its strongest week of the season, finishing a perfect 4–0 behind a midweek win over HCU and a dominant road sweep of Missouri. It wasn’t always clean, but in a must‑win series, the Aggies’ offense erupted for 39 runs to secure their first SEC series victory of the year. A&M opened the week by staying perfect in midweek action, defeating HCU 5–1 during a stretch where several top‑25 programs stumbled.

Once in Columbia, the Aggies handled business, taking all three games from the Tigers with an offense that finally looked like the one opponents fear from top to bottom. The lone scare came in Game 1. After jumping out to a 10–1 lead, A&M’s pitching struggles resurfaced, allowing Missouri to claw back into the game.

The Aggies ultimately held on for an 11–9 win, turning to Clayton Freshcorn to close the door. The final two games were far less dramatic, as A&M outscored Missouri 28–9 and piled up 27 hits across Saturday and Sunday. Gavin Grahovac delivered one of his best weekends of the season despite suffering a hand injury in Game 1.

All four of his hits in the series left the yard, and he finished with 12 RBI. After last year’s season‑ending injury, it’s starting to feel like he’s finally returning to the form he flashed as a freshman. Overall, it was a highly encouraging week for the Aggies.
