•Yahoo Sports

Rams head coach Sean McVay might not targeting Ty Simpson with the No. 13 pick, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like him as a prospect.

There will be a lot of eyes on the Los Angeles Rams ' No. 13 pick in the 2026 NFL draft if Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson is still available at that point. The Rams don't need a quarterback, but could look for Matthew Stafford's eventual replacement with their first pick of 2026.

While head coach Sean McVay didn't tip his hand of if the Rams are actually interested in Simpson, he did note what he liked about the Alabama prospect in a conversation with Kay Adams at the NFL owners' meeting in Phoenix this week. "I like him a lot, too," McVay. "I probably haven't done as much work on him as you have, but I like the way he handles himself.

I like the way that you can evaluate a lot of the different things that he's able to do that maybe translate. " There are a lot of Ty Simpson opinions floating around right now, here's what Rams HC Sean McVay had to say about the Alabama QB: @heykayadams pic. twitter.
