St. Bonaventure Hiring Division II Coach Mike MacDonald

The news was previously reported by ESPN. MacDonald replaces long-time former coach Mark Schmidt, who retired following the season. MacDonald will work with GM Adrian Wojnarowski, the former ESPN NBA Insider, to construct a roster and team that can be competitive in the Atlantic 10.

This is his first Division 1 head coaching job. Before Daemen, he served as the head coach at Canisius College from 1997-2006 and at Medaille University (N. Y.
