Georgia basketball's leading scorer to transfer
A second Georgia Bulldogs basketball player has announced his plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal
Georgia Bulldogs star guard Jeremiah Wilkinson plans to enter the transfer portal, per On3’s Joe Tipton . Wilkinson is expected to draw interest top college basketball programs when the portal opens on April 7. Wilkinson was Georgia’s top scorer during the 2025-26 campaign.
The star guard averaged 17. 4 points, 2. 0 rebounds and 1.
7 assists, as Wilkinson was problem for opposing defenses on a nightly basis. The Georgia star recorded 30 points on 9-of-21 shooting during the Dawgs’ season-ending loss against Saint Louis in the NCAA Tournament, including an extremely impressive 7-of-15 from three point range. Wilkinson will be a major loss for Georgia’s offense next season.
He spent just one season at Georgia after starting his career with the California Bears. The Dawgs and coach Mike White will likely look to find a replacement Wilkinson via the transfer portal. Wilkinson was considered to be a top three-point shooter in both the SEC prior to suffering a shoulder injury in late February.
