Sean McVay crashes Seahawks coach's interview to joke about 2-point play

Yahoo Sports

Sean McVay picked the perfect time to joke about the Seahawks' controversial 2-point play with Mike Macdonald.

There may not have been a stranger play in the NFL last season than the Seattle Seahawks’ two-point conversion against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 16. It spurred their dramatic comeback win over the Rams after trailing by 16 points in the fourth quarter, putting two points on the board to tie the game in the most bizarre way. Sean McVay still hasn’t forgotten about that play, particularly after the Rams proposed two rule changes in response to that controversial play.

They also would’ve liked to see a time limit for replay review to be initiated, but both proposals were withdrawn by Los Angeles. During the annual league meeting on Monday, McVay joked with Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald about that very play, hilariously interrupting Macdonald’s presser to make a comment about the two-point conversion. “What do you think about the two-point play?

” McVay yelled. Macdonald responded by asking if that’s “still on the table,” joking about the Rams’ rule proposal. Funny moment near the end of Mike Macdonald’s media session: Sean McVay popped in and jokingly asked, “What do you think of the two-point play?

” Macdonald smiled and said, “Is that still on the table? ” McVay patted him on the back on his way out. pic.
