Rams' Sean McVay weighs in on Liam Coen-led Jacksonville Jaguars
Rams' HC Sean McVay offered high praise for the Jaguars under Liam Coen.
At the NFL league meetings, LA Rams' head coach Sean McVay was asked about Jacksonville Jaguars' head coach Liam Coen and his team's performance during the 2025 season. Coen spent time with the Rams under McVay on two separate occasions, the first time from 2018 to 2020 and then again in 2022 as the offensive coordinator. “A great coach," McVay said of Coen.

In Year 1 as the Jaguars ' head coach, Jacksonville went from winning just four games in 2024 to tallying 13 victories this year, along with being the AFC South champs. With Coen in charge of the offense, we saw a resurgence from quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who was a finalist for the MVP and Comeback Player of the Year awards. During the Jaguars ' eight-game winning streak to end the regular season, the Jacksonville offense averaged almost 33 points per game during that span.
