Browns' rule change proposal has 'zero percent chance' of passing

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay had some strong opinions about the Browns' proposed rule change towards NFL Draft picks.

The Cleveland Browns have made headlines with their upcoming proposal at the NFL’s Annual League Meeting. The proposal would center around allowing NFL teams to trade first round picks up to five years in the future, compared to the current three-year restriction. It’s ironic, of course, considering one of the last groundbreaking NFL trades was the Browns trading three years' worth of first round picks for Deshaun Watson, and it failed in miserable fashion.

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay expressed his opinion on a new episode of FanDuel Network’s “ The Up & Adams Show ”, hosted by Kay Adams. He discussed this rule change with Kay and explained how there was a “zero percent chance” that it would get approved at the NFL’s Annual League Meeting. He also gave some further comments on Browns GM Andrew Berry: “I respect the courage of Andrew to have very sound reasoning about what’s behind it (the proposition), but if there’s one thing you can bet Vegas odds on, it’s that proposal not getting through.

” Why the Browns want the rule change The reason behind the Browns' request for this rule change has yet to be revealed. Fans and reporters have speculated that the franchise would have a higher price than three first round picks for star defensive end Myles Garrett. Others predict that the Browns are tired of taking chances at the quarterback position, and could be willing to risk it all for the right prospect.

Either way, the approval of this rule change would make things very interesting for the future of the Cleveland Browns . This article originally appeared on Browns Wire: Browns' rule change proposal has 'zero percent chance' of passing
