Well, all those things and more seem to be on the horizon for the Texans in the newest mock draft from ESPN. Matt Miller released his first seven-round mock draft following the start of free agency. Even after adding in Colts right tackle Braden Smith and Browns guard Wyatt Teller, Houston still needs stability in the trenches for the long haul.
At pick No. 28, Miller has Houston landing a familiar name in mock draft cycles with the addition of Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller . "Signing 30-year-old Braden Smith to a two-year contract solves Houston's right tackle need for the moment, but the Texans' plan to build a young (aka inexpensive) offensive line around C.
J. Stroud is still in place," Miller wrote. "Miller started 54 college games at right tackle and improved every season, allowing only two sacks in 2025.
