FC Bayern thanks Raphaël Guerreiro FC Bayern and Raphaël Guerreiro have mutually agreed to not extend his contract, which expires at the end of the season. The 32-year-old Portugal international joined the German record champions on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023 and has to date won one Bundesliga title and one German Supercup with the Munich side. That versatility means he’s played both as a full-back and in central midfield. For his home country Portugal, with whom he won the European Championship in 2016, celebrated victory in the Nations League in 2019 and took part in two World Cups (2018 and 2022), he has made 65 appearances to date, scoring four goals.
