Brad Brown now and the Clemson men’s basketball team officially have some new coaches hired to the program.

Clemson ’s board took another step in shaping Brad Brownell’s basketball staff, locking in contracts for three assistant coaches while also finalizing a new addition to the program. The university’s Compensation Committee approved deals for new assistants Chad Warner and Chris Harriman, along with a raise for returning coach Sean Dixon. Warner and Harriman will each earn $400,000 annually on two-year contracts that run through the 2027-28 season.

Dixon’s pay rises from $375,000 to $400,000 as part of a new two-year agreement on the same timeline. Clemson also confirmed the addition of Andre Morgan to the staff. His contract did not require board approval.

Warner arrives after spending last season at Minnesota, following a successful stretch at Furman. During his time there, the Paladins consistently won at a high level, including a 28-win campaign and an NCAA Tournament victory over Virginia. Brownell emphasized Warner’s offensive mindset and experience, noting, “Chad is an excellent teacher and will help me develop an offensive identity for this team… I love that Chad has head coaching experience, which will help us navigate this new world of college basketball.

” Harriman brings more than two decades of experience across several major conferences. Most recently at Charleston, he helped the program compile 45 wins over two seasons. His background also includes stops at Saint Louis, California, New Mexico and Nebraska, where he played a role in building NCAA Tournament teams.
