Oregon Ducks land commitment from SF Seven Spurlock in 2026 class

Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks picked up a commitment from 3-star SF Seven Spurlock in the 2026 recruiting class.

It's been a tough offseason so far for Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks , with a big-time rebuild of the men's basketball program on the way. That rebuild started on Sunday with some recruiting news, as the Ducks picked up a solid player from the high school ranks. Oregon landed a commitment from 3-star small forward Seven Spurlock, the No.

200 overall player and No. 59 small forward in the 2026 class. Spurlock stands at 6-foot-5, 210 pounds, and was previously committed to the Arizona State Sun Devils before decommitting earlier this month and choosing the Ducks instead.

While this commitment does not make up for the losses of guys like Jackson Shelstad and Kwame Evans, two stars who entered the transfer portal this offseason, it is a small step in the right direction as Altman looks to build up this roster into a team that can contend in the Big Ten and make it back to the NCAA Tournament in the future. Oregon also has a commitment from 4-star Tahj Ariza, the No. 32 player in the 2026 class.
