2026 NFL Draft: 3 quarterbacks Steelers could target on Day 3
The Pittsburgh Steelers have a few quarterback options to consider in the fourth through seventh rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are entering a new regime with more questions than answers at the quarterback position. In what's shaping up to be a 2026 NFL Draft class filled with very few first-round caliber quarterbacks, there is some great value to be found on Day 3. Here is a look at three quarterbacks the Steelers could target on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Carson Beck, Miami (FL) The Steelers have shown interest in Beck early in the scouting process, bringing him in as one of their top-30 visits. Beck, who led the Miami Hurricanes to their first College Football Playoff appearance in 2025, would offer Pittsburgh a low-risk, high-reward quarterback option in the fourth-to-fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Drew Allar, Penn State A once-projected top-10 pick, Allar's draft stock took a major hit following inconsistent play and a season-ending injury in 2025.
Now projected to be drafted on Day 3, Allar would, at best, compete with Will Howard as a long-term starting option. At worst, he'd become a dependable backup for years to come. Taylen Green, Arkansas Arguably the most talented dual-threat quarterback from his draft class, Green set multiple records at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, including a 43.
5 inch vertical and an 11-foot 2-inch broad jump. Possessing 4. 3 speed and a cannon of an arm, Green would be an incredible Day 3 pickup for Pittsburgh.
