An Alyssa Hastings one-out single was followed by a hit by pitch to put two on for Annalea Adams, who reached on a fielder’s choice. Shortstop Madison Uptegrove, trying to secure a double play, had a rare fielding error that allowed Hastings to score, unearned.
How would CeCe respond to the adversity? After allowing a four-pitch walk to Haven Roebuck to load the bases, she dialed in, striking out the next two Auburn players to escape the jam. E1 | MIZ 0 🥎 AUB 1 Getting out of the jam with back-to-back strikeouts #MIZ 🐯🥎 | #OwnIt pic.
