Breaking down every Steelers pick in massive new seven-round mock draft
We go through all 12 Steelers picks in this huge new mock draft from Pro Football and Sports Network.
Our friends over at Pro Football and Sports Network have a brand new seven-round mock draft out and this time we want to go through every pick for the Pittsburgh Steelers . The Steelers currently hold 12 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft and while we don't expect them to keep all those picks, we are going to give our thoughts on all 12 here. First round - G Vega Ioane - Penn State This might be the ideal pick for Pittsburgh.
With Isaac Seumalo moving on, starting left guard is the primary need and Vega is the best guard prospect we've graded in the last five years. Second round - LB Jake Golday - Cincinnati This is a fun pick because the first thought if Golday is the Steelers' pick, you have to assume the Steelers have a trade in place to send Patrick Queen to a new team. Third round - WR Germie Bernard - Alabama We've been a fan of Bernard to the Steelers for a while now.
He's great inside/outside receiver who plays with the mentality of a running back with the football in his hands. Third round - CB Tacario Davis - Washington Long, rangy and athletic cornerback who is came on strong in 2025 after a transfer. Great player to pair up with Jamel Dean and Joey Porter Jr.
Third round - DB Jalon Kilgore - South Carolina If we are looking at Kilgore strictly as a box safety, the pick works but it might be a round too soon for him. Looking ahead to the actual draft and the next Steelers pick, it is probably more realistic to flip the picks to land both guys. Fourth round - QB Cole Payton - North Dakota State No quarterback in this draft has gained more offseason momentum than NDSU's Cole Payton.
