Cris Cyborg is now a multi-sport champion after picking up the WIBA super welterweight title on Saturday in Brazil.
Cris Cyborg is now a dual-sport champion after capturing a boxing title on Saturday in Brazil. Reigning PFL women's featherweight champion Cyborg has a long list of accolades that includes belts in UFC, Bellator, Strikeforce and Invicta FC. Those all come in the MMA world, but now she has added a boxing trophy to her resume.
Cyborg defeated Paulina Cardona by second-round TKO at Nação Cyborg 15 in Prana to claim the WIBA super welterweight belt (154 pounds), advancing her professional boxing record to 6-0. Cardona failed to answer the bell after Round 2. View this post on Instagram
