Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton on shingles: 'This is gonna suck'
Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton went on NBA on Prime and shared how he found out he had shingles
Indiana Pacers All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton went on NBA on Prime on Saturday and shared how he found out he had shingles, which causes a rash and is far more common in older people. Haliburton, out for the season due to a torn Achilles tendon suffered in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, was given a couple extra days off around the All-Star Break when he developed a bad headache. "On Day 2, I had this crazy headache," he said on NBA on Prime.
"I don't know what's going on. It never went away. I was supposed to meet the team in D.
C. but flew right to Indy because I had to see a doctor. We had all these appointments schedule for CTs, I thought I had these migraines.
"(The doctor) looked at me for five minutes and said, 'Oh my god, you have shingles. This is gonna suck. ' I had a huge rash on my face for two or three weeks.
