Georgia football makes up ground in 4-star LB's recruitment
Four-star linebacker recruit Kenneth Simon would be an excellent addition to the Dawgs' defense in 2027 should he land at Georgia.
The Georgia Bulldogs continue to make up ground in the recruitment of 4-star linebacker Kenneth Simon ll . At 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, Simon is an extremely talented linebacker from the class of 2027. He has named Georgia as a top landing spot throughout his recruitment process.
Simon would prove to be an excellent piece in Georgia’s defense should he land in Athens. A Tennessee native, Simon was an elite playmaker throughout his time at Brentwood Academy High School and has drawn serious interest from top college football programs. Simon recorded 63 passing yards and a rushing touchdown over two total appearances at quarterback during his junior campaign, as the linebacker is an extremely versatile and dynamic playmaker with the ability to play various positions.
Simon is ranked as the No. 7 linebacker and the No. 131 overall player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports rankings .
He is listed as the No. 6 overall player from Tennessee. Georgia reportedly made a big impression on the talented linebacker during his first visit to Athens last weekend, as Simon currently has Alabama and Georgia listed as his top two programs with Tennessee remaining in the mix as well.
