NBA legend furious with Caleb Williams ‘Iceman’ trademark filing

The NFL offseason is progressing toward the 2026 NFL Draft. Teams will soon begin their OTA periods as players return to football shape. Some players have stayed busy this offseason—not just preparing for 2026, but also handling their business affairs.

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams recently filed a trademark for “Iceman. ” The filing includes the silhouette of his 4th-and-8 pass against the Green Bay Packers. MORE: Did the Detroit Lions betray their veteran offensive lineman?

Some people appear to be taking exception to the move. NBA legend George Gervin recently spoke to ESPN and voiced his displeasure.
