Where Ducks stand in 2027 recruiting rankings after Drew Fielder flip
After losing 4-star OT Drew Fielder to a conference rival, the Oregon Ducks have slipped in the national recruiting rankings.
The Oregon Ducks suffered a big loss to their 2027 recruiting class on Saturday when four-star offensive tackle Drew Fielder flipped his pledge from the Ducks to the rival USC Trojans. Fielder, the No. 81 recruit nationally and No.
10 offensive tackle in the 2027 class, per 247 Sports, had been committed to the Ducks since February 1. However, a couple of recent visits to USC, not far from where he stars at Servite High School, swayed his decision toward the Trojans. That was the second win of the week for USC over the Ducks on the recruiting trail after landing four-star cornerback Danny Lang on Thursday, and the Trojans made sure to rub it in with a couple of shots fired at the Ducks on social media.
As for the Ducks, their recruiting class has taken a dip in the rankings. When Oregon secured a commitment from four-star defensive lineman Zane Rowe , the Ducksโ 2027 class leaped to No. 8 nationally, per 247 Sports.
Now, with just five commitments and without Fielder, the Ducks have fallen to No. 17 nationally and fifth in the Big Ten. The Ducks trail Nebraska , Washington , USC and Ohio State within the conference.
