Contract incentives for Patriots TE Julian Hill revealed
The full contract incentives for Patriots tight end Julian Hill's three-year deal have been revealed.
The incentives in New England Patriots tight end Julian Hill's three-year, $15 million contract have been revealed. According to the Boston Globe's Ben Volin , Hill can earn up to $1 million in incentives, including $250,000 for four different snap and catch milestones. Those marks, according to the contract, are playing in 50 percent of the snaps, playing in 60 percent of the snaps, hauling in 20 catches or hauling in 30 catches in the season.
Hill spent the last three seasons with the Miami Dolphins. He is mostly known for his blocking abilities, even though he still hauled in 15 receptions for 140 yards in 14 games last season. So he brings a different skill set to the table than the Patriots had last year with former backup option Austin Hooper, who signed with the Atlanta Falcons in free agency.
Hill's presence could go a long way in helping to improve the run game, while also boosting pass protection for the Patriots. It wouldn't be surprising to see the team address the position even further in the 2026 NFL Draft with Hunter Henry being 31 years old. Follow Patriots Wire on Twitter and Facebook .
