LSU was able to get some production from the bottom of the lineup today as the Tigers took game two from Kentucky.

LSU baseball gave the ball to William Schmidt for Game 2 of the three-game series vs. the Kentucky Wildcats. He replaced Cooper Moore, who will be out for a while.

Schmidt's usual Sunday start was moved up to Saturday, but it did not seem to affect Schmidt in the slightest. Schmidt was great, pitching 5. 1 innings and allowing zero runs on six hits, striking out three, and issuing two walks.
