Seminoles turn heads at Pro Day ahead of 2026 NFL Draft
17 Seminoles worked out for all 32 NFL scouts. See how Darrell Jackson, Tommy Castellanos, and Jerry Wilson made their cases for the draft.
Florida State football hosted its annual National Football League (NFL) Pro Day, the program's premier on-campus scouting event for professional evaluators, on Friday, March 27. NFL hopefuls from the Seminoles participated in the vertical jump, bench press, broad jump, 40-yard dash, three-cone drill, 20-yard shuttle, and route running. While much of the attention centered on defensive standouts Wilson and Jackson, the most recognizable name belonged to Castellanos. He also lined up and ran two routes as a wide receiver, showcasing his athletic versatility for scouts. Scouts are intrigued by his presence in the middle; when he attacks blocks properly, he consumes two gaps.
His most impressive features are his 11-inch hands and a 7-foot-2-inch wingspan. Although Jackson participated in position drills at the Pro Day, he previously attended the NFL Scouting Combine, fulfilling a childhood dream. "Leaving Florida State and going to the combine, it was great,โ Jackson told the media on Thursday.
