NFL free agency: 2025 Browns still on the market including Joel Bitonio, David Njoku

The Cleveland Browns have made a number of moves so far in NFL free agency , but not the volume that we are used to seeing from GM Andrew Berry. The very good 2025 NFL draft class , coupled with nine picks in the 2026 NFL draft class , could be one of the reasons for the less activity. If the team doesn’t believe they are ready to compete for the NFL playoffs in 2026 , spending even more in NFL free agency also doesn’t make sense.

The Browns still have a number of players from their 2025 roster on the free agent market, including OL Joel Bitonio (many assume he will retire) and TE David Njoku ( who said goodbye to Cleveland and took a visit with an AFC North rival ).
