While Sooner slugger Kendall Wells is amid an all-time power binge, the OU freshman isn’t the only softball player in the state atop the home run charts. She’s not even the only Wells. Oklahoma Baptist senior Greenlee Wells, whose only relation to Kendall is that she was born to hit bombs, leads NCAA Division II softball with 17 home runs.

” Wells grew up playing travel ball. She practiced hitting seven nights a week. “I was constantly working,” Wells said.
