However, some good news came immediately after in the postgame press conference. The good news is the return of All-American center Clara Strack to Lexington. Kenny Brooks confirmed the news that was first reported by Phoenix Stevens of KSR .

Strack has become a key to the women’s basketball team in Coach Brooks two seasons in Lexington. Now she will look to be the superstar for him once again in her senior season. There never seemed to be too much drama about a potential return, but in today’s world of college athletics, it would not be shocking to see a team throw tons of money her way.

With the deal already being re-signed, the fanbase can see that UK is serious about retaining and keeping the women’s basketball team towards the top of the sport. Now, let’s hope they can take another step forward in year three of Kenny Brooks. Tweet of the Day Playing football on Caturdays >>> pic.
