The British Ice Skating Federation has announced that it will formally challenge the results of the ice dance competition at the 2026 ISU World Figure Skating Championships.

British skaters Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson finished fourth on Saturday, trailing silver medalists Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier of Canada and bronze winners Vadym Kolesnik and Emilea Zingas of the United States. France’s Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron won gold. The fourth-place finish came as a shock to the Brits.
