According to AS , the young Tottenham star has now caught the eyes of La Liga giants Barcelona. They are looking for a new centre-half, and he is on their shortlist.
Tottenham signed Vuskovic for €12 million last summer and sent him on loan to Hamburg in Germany, where he has been one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga. Vuskovic, a ‘huge talent’ , has won 75% of his aerial and 57% of his ground duels. He is also remarkably comfortable playing on the left or right side of defence.
Barcelona boss Joan Laporta shares an excellent relationship with Vuskovic’s agent, Pini Zahavi. Former midfielder Ivan Rakitic is the chairman of his former club, Hajduk Split. These factors can help Barcelona if they decide to try to pry the talented Vuskovic from Tottenham.
