Rebilas-Imagn Images PHOENIX – The Phoenix Suns get a much-needed win over the Utah Jazz before their four-game road trip next week, thanks to the dominance by Devin Booker and Jalen Green.
The guard duo had a field day on Saturday, combing for 57 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds. Green dominated the first half with 20 first half points, while Booker had a quiet 14 points in comparison. The tandem completely controlled the third quarter, scoring or assisting on 29 of the team’s 35 points.
Booker and Green flexed their scoring prowess to extend the lead so wide they sat the fourth quarter. Besides the win, Saturday’s game might’ve cemented the pair as one of the most dynamic duo in the NBA. Since recovering from his injuries, he has done a stellar job playing off Booker. In the first half, Green was getting his shot via playing in the system and initiating the pass early in the possession, which allowed the ball to move and find him wide open. Getting those open shots allowed him to get comfortable and work on his iso game and driving towards the basket.
