UFC Fight Night 271 bonuses: Be Joe Pyfer, win $100,000
Joe Pyfer led the way for bonuses in a night filled with finishes at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
The UFC handed out four bonuses after Saturday's card in Seattle, including a Fight of the Night to an extremely bloody feature prelim battle. After UFC Fight Night 271, four fighters picked up an extra $100,000 for their performances at Climate Pledge Arena. In addition, seven other fighters got $25,000 extra checks for finishes that weren’t bonus-winners.
Check out the list below. Performance of the Night: Alexa Grasso ($100,000) Former women's flyweight champ Alexa Grasso (17-5-1 MMA, 9-5-1 UFC) got back on track with one of the most brutal finishing sequences in recent memory. In a rematch with Maycee Barber, Grasso finished things quickly after knocking out Barber with a sharp 1-2 combination, followed by an immediate rear-naked choke, which ended up not being needed as Barber was already out.
Grasso takes home her first bonus since winning the title in 2023. Performance of the Night: Joe Pyfer ($100,000) Joe Pyfer (16-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) picked up the biggest win of his career thus far as he finished former champion Israel Adesanya in the main event. Adesanya looked like the champion of old in the first round, as he picked Pyfer apart.
However, in Round 2, Pyfer found openings to turn the tide, and once he got the fight to the ground, he flattened Adesanya out, and ended the fight with heavy ground and pound. Pyfer extends his winning streak to four, while earning his second consecutive bonus. Fight of the Night: Tofiq Musayev, Ignacio Bahamondes ($100,000 each) Tofiq Musayev (23-6 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and Ignacio Bahamondes (17-7 MMA, 6-4 UFC) left it all in the octagon – quite literally, as both spilled a ton of blood on the canvas.
