The Bruins' decision to bring in this forward is continuing to pay off.

The Boston Bruins picked up an impressive 6-3 win over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday night. Pavel Zacha certainly played a role in the Bruins' win, as he scored two goals in the contest. With his strong performance against the Wild, Zacha has a career-high 26 goals and is at 56 points in 70 games this season.

It has been a fantastic season for the 2015 first-round pick, and he has undoubtedly been a big reason for the Bruins' turnaround in 2025-26. With all of this, there is no question that the Bruins' decision to acquire Zacha from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for Erik Haula during the 2022 NHL offseason is only continuing to get better as time passes by. Zacha just keeps getting better for the Bruins and has emerged as one of their best forwards in the process.

He has also been only heating up as the season passes by, as he has seven goals and 11 points over his last eight games alone. With all of this, it is hard not to like the Bruins' decision to trade for Zacha. Getting a fresh start with the Bruins helped him take that next step in a big way.

In 311 games over four seasons with the Bruins, Zacha has recorded 80 goals, 137 assists, and 217 points.
