twitter. com/GD60Zxumon โ UFC on Paramount+ (@UFConParamount) March 29, 2026 Win or lose, McKinney has earned a reputation for not only never going to the scorecards, but rarely fighting past the first round. All of McKinneyโs previous UFC wins came in Round 1 and that number is now eight after his blindingly fast win on Saturday.
McKinney clipped Nelson with a head kick seconds into the contest and though it looked like Nelson partially blocked it, the strike still landed with enough force to send the Canadian veteran stumbling back. As usual, McKinney showed no hesitation, and he swarmed Nelson, eventually battering a turtling Nelson with hammerfist after hammerfist on the ground to force the stoppage. That makes it three wins for McKinney (18-8) in his past four outings as he rebounds from a submission loss to Chris Duncan.
