NBC accidentally used wrong Tiger Woods crash footage during report

•Yahoo Sports

This was a tough NBC Sports snafu on Saturday.

NBC Sports suffered a broadcast snafu before Saturday's Texas Children's Houston Open coverage while reporting on Friday's Tiger Woods rollover crash and subsequent arrest. Woods' Florida rollover car crash led to a DUI arrest , but NBC's studio show accidentally used footage from his 2021 rollover crash in California while reporting on the latest information ahead of Saturday's tournament. NBC Sports broadcaster Dan Hicks later gave an apology from the network for "inadvertently" broadcasting 2021's footage instead of what happened on Friday.

That's a tough break for NBC Sports during its weekend golf coverage. Thankfully, the network was able to correct the record in due time. We doubt this mistake happens again during any future Woods coverage.
