Known for finishing his foes early — with 12 of his knockouts coming in under three rounds, eight in the first — it took the heavy-handed Brit a bit longer to take out Franklin (24-3), stopping him in the fifth round thanks to a devastating uppercut that put him out for the count. Itauma did drop his for in round three but Franklin showed his resilience by bouncing back up, only to get put away for the night two rounds later.
