Berlin Brothersvalley graduate Pace Prosser, Gannon advance to NCAA Division II men's basketball title game

PITTSBURGH – The Gannon men's basketball team advanced to the NCAA Division II championship game with a 98-80 victory over Oklahoma Baptist Friday at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. Gannon (33-3) is in the title game for the first time since 1987. Berlin Brothersvalley graduate and Gannon sophomore Pace Prosser totaled 17 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.
Lucas Morgan compiled 28 points and nine rebounds. Mackenzie Morgan chipped in 20 points, and Precious Idiaru netted 17. Gannon led 45-39 at halftime.
The Golden Knights will face 30-5 Lander, which beat defending champion Nova Southeastern 91-81, in the title game. The championship game is 1 p. m.
April 5 in Indianapolis.
