They made the playoffs in 2025, but once again failed to advance, and decided to part ways with longtime head coach Mike Tomlin after the season as a result. Future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers is not under contract for 2026, so there's no guarantee he will be back under center. However, it certainly seems like Rodgers will either return for one more season with Pittsburgh or retire.
If Rodgers returns, the Steelers are in pretty good shape. The team added wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. this offseason, and pairing the new addition with D.
