The Iowa women's basketball program saw its first departure on Friday morning. Junior guard Kennise Johnson announced her intentions to enter the transfer portal. The 5-foot-4 guard out of Joliet, Ill.

While Johnson is listed as a junior, she could seek a medical redshirt and wind up with two seasons of eligibility remaining at her next stop.
