Social media buzzing after Hannah Hidalgo’s triple-double vs. Vandy

Notre Dame women’s basketball team advanced to the Elite 8 for the first time since 2019 on Friday , and it was largely due to the monster game by star guard Hannah Hidalgo. The junior recorded a triple-double with 31-points, 11-rebounds, 10-steals and 7-assists. Hidalgo’s brilliance was recognized on social media, as many went to praise her huge game in leading the Irish to the next round.

It was a bit shocking to see her being left off the Naismith Award finalists , but it’s hard to argue that she’s not one of the best players in the nation.
